Keith and I finally got a day to hike and were able to spend the afternoon at
Amicalola Falls State Park in North Georgia. We hiked the long route up to the top of the falls (including the dreaded 425 steps) had lunch at the lodge, and hiked down the shorter path back to the Visitor Center.

Oh, I am sooo jealous! It is so cold over here this winter -just not fun to be out walking at all, although I drag Little Boy out every day for at least 45 minutes. Sounds like you had fun.

Beautiful! I used to live in Atlanta (Jonesboro, Clayton Co.)before DH and I came back to his home country of Ireland. Never made it to the North Georgia mountains...wish I had!!
