Home

No quilting this weekend. I got home from Virginia late Friday - we hiked 15 miles on Saturday and then went to a friend's house for dinner. Hiked 15 miles again today and after eating take out I started to work on a hat and scarf for my Mom. The hat is crocheted but I'm knitting the scarf.

Keith will be traveling this week from Tuesday through Saturday so I hope to get some quilting time in while he's gone.

Knitting is such a great, portable project. I've started to knit some Christmas presents... and a scarf for myself. You Mom is sure to enjoy her new hat/scarf!

Cheers!

Great color yarn. Is it a chenille yarn? Are you making socks to match?

Ohhh, I love the look of that beanie, it's super cute. The yarn looks really soft, is it kind of velvety?
