Checking more things off my to do list/October goals

Well, I think I'm making progress
  • all the wedding stuff is done except I need to shorten my dress slightly. I'm not a sewer but it's just a tiny rolled hem and I think I can cut an inch and a half off the bottom and then resew it myself. We'll see how it goes.
  • all the final plans were made for the Rehearsal dinner on Friday so now all I'll have to do is show up and have fun.
  • finished quilting and shipped my Aunt's quilt to her
  • finished the borders on the Autumn quilt

With the Breast Cancer Walk and the wedding the last two weekends of the month, I'm going to set just 2 goals for October.

That's it!

with two weekends "eaten up" with other committments I think you're very wise setting your goals so they are "doable"

Ah, such a busy month for you! And moving coming up, also ...
VERY easy quilty goals are what's required this month!!!!! Like maybe read a quilt magazine, and that's it! :)

Your goals are very doable. Although when my son got married this past july I think I only got one quilting day done.

Good luck and be sure to enjoy the wedding!

You will do just fine with the hem - just use the same color thread - and remember - no one will be looking that closely at the hem. Nice panto designs for both your quilts. Enjoy October!!! I know lots of preparation has been made for the 2 events.

Cheers!

wise woman to make easy goals..and even those may prove challenging..so don't sweat them in view of your walk and the wedding to do.
