If you can believe it, it took as long to pick out the stitching on that partial row as it did to quilt the entire top. Anyway, the good news is that the Colors of Autumn quilting is done and it's trimmed and ready for binding.
I ended up using the pantograph - Popcorn by Jodi Beamish - this pantograph looks like clouds to me so the colors and quilting makes me think of a breezy autumn day like today.

I listened to a new CD from one of my favorite bands while picking out the original stitching and quilting this top - Reunion: A Decade of Solas. If you like Irish music then I'd recommend any of the Solas CD's. I am slightly biased as one of my cousins (Seamus Egan) is a band member but I can't really say I know him since I haven't seen him since he was a child.

Hope you get your car back soon!
The quilt looks great! The autumn colors are my favorites. Is this for you or a gift for some lucky person?
Your cousin is Seamus Egan!! I used to work at the DC Irish festivals and see him there all the time! He was a cutie and I was a shy girl, so never got to know him well, but he is an amazing musician!!
It is so funny, Seamus and Jean Butler of Riverdance fame seemed to have a thing going at that time, I just found out that Jean lives here in our town!
I really need to get back into the trad music scene, I had great times back then!!
Forgot to say, LOL, love the panto and the autumn colors quilt!!
I love how your Colours of Autumn quilt has turned out. You did a great job Mary!
*hugs*

Picking out is always the worst part of any sewing job but worth it in the end. I love how it turned out. Great choice of quilting pattern.
I love this. It does look like windy autumn! If you get a chance, I'd love to see a picture of the whole quilt!
My husband is an Irish music fanatic. I can't count the number of times we've seen Chieftains. He doesn't have much Irish in him, but he plays in an Irish pub band with some friends. I thought he had every Irish CD ever made (truly, our CD rack is embarrassingly full!), but I'm not sure I've heard of this one. Sounds like I may have a new Christmas present for him. Yea! He's so hard to buy for!
It turned out beautiful. I love that panto pattern.
It turned out beautifully, Mary and well worth removing what didn't work for you.
i feel your pain about unsewing!!! 5 minutes or less to quilt and HOURS TO unsew!!. The popcorn panoto looks good on this quilt.
