I finished the binding and labeling on this quilt the other night. It's a HeartStrings Purple Project quilt that will be donated.
I used my favorite pieced backing - an off center 4 patch and used the new HeartStrings label.

Another great quilt. I am just getting ready to send a quilt off for Project Linus. Is there a place to access those quilt labels?
So bright and cheerful. Some lucky recipient will certainly love it!
Another bright, happy quilt. I like that backing, too. I'm always concerned with properly centering a pieced backing-the purposely of center 4 patch is the ideal solution!
Mary I love these purple quilts, they are so bright. When I was a child my favourite colour was "purple and orange", and I think a bit of that has stuck with me.
What a lovely bright happy Quilt! Your quilts all seem to have a very happy vibe to them!
Looks great!
That purple is absolutely gorgeous, makes the whole quilt sing. Love the pieced backing too, I think plain ones are so boring now.
This looks beautiful, lovely job. I love the colours too, striking!
Breathtaking!
another cute one! love the label as well!
Looks great!
Those heartstrings labels are sooo cute! (Great quilt, too.) And by the way, I just spent the weekend sewing with purples!
your usual wonderful job-I love purple so it's a real stunner to me.
I wanted to add my compliments on the fantastic quilting you did on the square dance quilt-previous post-you truly do lovely quilting Mary-I wish you would be kinder to yourself on that aspect, and thanks for the great drawings on pebbling.
LOVE the purple... and I'm a BIG fan of pieced backs so I really like the off-center approach (not to mention the colors!!). GREAT job!!
Love the quilt and the backing too (must remember this technique next time I'm short on length!)
Another winner...I love how you do the backings and I just love the label. :)
I like the quilt, and the back. I love pieced backs, I have done several myself.
