Done

Another finish and I'm going to be kind to myself and not pick it apart. I started writing this by describing what I didn't like about my quilting on this top. But you know, it's done and it looks pretty good.

Pretty good is an understatement - it's GORGEOUS! You are way too hard on yourself. Your work is just amazing and you are so generous with sharing your techniques and patterns. Thank you.

It is wonderful. The pebbles really add great texture to the blocks and they definitely are not as easy as they look!

Mary: This is more than just pretty good--it is gorgeous! You are not the only one who saves leftover bindings! :) I do add them to my string blocks though. Anything to use them up.

It's beautiful Mary!!
I heard on our news tonight that a touch of fall is going to make itself known in MN. Please send it on down MO way!!!

"looks pretty good"??? It looks very, very good to me! I like the way the close background quilting makes the colorful blocks pop out. Very effective.

It's gorgeous Mary! You sound like me. Sometimes we are our own worst critic. =P Pat yourself on the back. Job well done!

I'm like Norma. Leftover pieces of binding are tossed in the string bin. Can't throw away anything....

It looks great. I love the way the links puff up. I think it's easy to be critical when we've worked on something so closely with intense attention to detail. Leave it on a chair and then come into the room catching sight of it from the corner of your eye then you'll see just what a beautiful job you've done.
Take care,
Jane

It is beautiful! You did a great job on the quilting. You made the links stand out so they look like they are floating on the surface. Keep up the wonderful work. Take care, Cory
