A quick note

I've got 28 of my 48 Pink blocks made for HeartStrings Project Pink. Mom helped out and made a few and then I worked on them this afternoon and evening. This photo was snapped after finishing the first 12.

Very pretty! I'm anxious to see the ones I sent to Jennifer combined with blocks from others -- it's fun to see the scrappy combinations!

I hardly ever sew with pink but it is my favorite color to wear. This is turning into such a beautiful quilt Mary - perfect for Quilt Pink!

Oooooh, you're working with my favorite color - PINK! - although I tend towards the brighter shades and the fuschia aspects rather than the pastel versions. No matter, this is going to be a dynamic, lovely quilt!

WTG! I like these mostly pink blocks -- I think they'll make a nice quilt.

They look so pretty and I don't even like pink.

The pink and white blocks are SOOO PRETTY. I hope to get a couple made for the project, even though white isn't a colour I usually use :)

Love the pink Mary. I am sure these patients will love receiving them!

Speaking of pink, I walked in the Susan G. Komen walk today in Des Moines. My best friend has breast cancer. She is on radiation right now, but was able to walk with us today. Her prognosis is very good, but it has been a very long road.

Hopefully Monday or Tuesday I will post pictures.
