This is a retreat weekend but Keith and I are going to run a couple errands and get a late lunch. Although most of my time is being spent on HeartStrings projects this weekend - I did finish up the last blocks from my July QFAH project LATE last night. Here's the final block!
I'm almost done with the quilting of the HeartStrings top - it's for a breast cancer patient and was pieced by Barb in MN. I think the roses look lovely on it.

I love that QFAH block! Very striking.
The roses do look lovely on the pink.
Enjoy your retreat!
Yes, I still want to do that QFAH quilt, too. Every time I see someone working on it, it reminds me. VBG Good progress so far on the quilting. Hope you had a nice lunch with Keith.
It's late Saturday afternoon - My Virtual Retreat pink blocks are all done - need to trim them and put together in rows! Yeahhhh .. also did some other sewing - must be on a roll today.
Thanks Mary, for pulling this together, or was it Sue? or ???
The rose vine does look beautiful on that quilt. Hope you had a good lunch.
Yeah, final block is done. Love those roses. Perfect choice.
Love your color choices on your quilt for an hour! Mine is finished except for the binding, and then I will show it on my blog. The quilting is just right on the other quilt. We are making a siggy quilt for our secretary at work, who also has breast cancer.

I love the Rose quilting panto. I've seen something very similar before and when I commented on it to the LAer she said it was one of the first pantos she ever bought, but it was one of the least often asked for!! Weird :)
Love the string quilt with yellow sashing ... rose vine is perfect.
