Continuing Education

The apartment is quiet, Keith, Chris, and Becky left for the airport and Chesty and I have a few days to ourselves. Since I'm still struggling with this cold(flu?) I don't plan to work today so I watched a quilting DVD that came just before Chris and Becky arrived.

The Pajama Quilter Reloaded

I've been longarm quilting for 5 years and while I think my freehand quilting is decent, I'm not always happy with how it flows. I've quilted most of the elements on the DVD before so I'm hoping that I can use the information and inspiration to improve. For me, the DVD was definitely worth the cost.

I'm using Dawn's DVD a lot too. In fact I spent last night with my sketchbook watching it!

I think Dawn's new DVD is definitely worth the cost. I always feel like if I get even just 1 useful bit from any dvd, book, class, or whatever then it was worth the cost. On this one I like the idea of using the hook and feathers as an allover..I've used it small as background but it never occured to me to make it larger till I watch this dvd.

This may be a little out of line but do you have your quilt patterns in EQ6 format availble?
