Quilts shipped

I pulled the Windmill quilt from the dryer and packed up these 5 quilts to send to another HeartStrings member, Cricket who will donate them to homeless families. The bottom 3 tops were pieced by Wanda and sent to me for quilting, the top two are UFO's of mine. Glad to check this off my list!

While I was out running errands today I bought fabric......a set of fat quarters. Since the backings and bindings of the donated tops, and all the fabric for my two UFO's are from stash I guess more went out than came in.... I did mention that fat quarters were my weakness along with books (I bought 3 today).
I've got a little more binding to stitch down on the Red HeartStrings quilt and I should be able to report my 2nd UFO finish to you tomorrow. I can't believe I finished quilting that back in November and am just now getting around to binding it.

Mary you ahead. I've been sick for 3 days now so no quilting/sewing ... just couching.

November to January is nothing. I have waited over a year to finally finish a binding.
