UFO #3

I finished the binding and labeled my Pink HeartStrings quilt last night. The Chinese coins quilt is quilted, trimmed, and ready for binding, and I finished all the green crumb/string blocks and am working on the blue blocks for my new quilt.

I know you'll find it hard to believe but I'm so tired and headachy this last week or so after getting over my cold/flu that I'm not doing anything except quilting. I was supposed to fix dinner the last night and tonight but didn't get up early enough to get it in the crock pot; I was supposed to order groceries for the week and missed the deadline yesterday. The apartment needs vacuuming and I haven't been outside for a walk since Saturday. I'm tired of being tired!

I'm sorry to hear you are not feeling well... hope the tiredness moves on soon so you can get back to regular activities. I am impressed you are able to get so much quilting done considering.

Both the quilts are gorgeous! And your crumb blocks are fun too. What is the pattern you used to quilt the pink string quilt?

Take care.

Oh forget the chores! You obviously need to be sewing to help regain your strength! Great progress on your projects.

I thoroughly enjoyed browsing through the photos of your quilts. I really like the green and cream Double 4-patch quilt and downloaded the pattern. I just finished an elaborate wedding quilt (a year late) for my son, which was done, by request, in hunter green and cream. it is gorgeous, but I have lots of leftovers. If I get started on the double 4-patch, maybe I can refrain from having to add the kids' quilt leftovers to my stash. I have free BOM on my site, nancyrinkdesigns.com, if you or any of your friends are looking for some freebie patterns.

Being sick - and getting over being sick - is a real bummer. I hope you get your energy back soon. At least you felt well enough to quilt! :-)

Sorry you haven't been feeling well. You get a lot more done sick than I do well. The quilts are gorgeous.
You can order groceries and have them delivered? We don't get that in Maine.

The quilts look great! Hope you feel better soon. I know how you feel. I finally am starting to feel better...not well yet, but much better than before.

I love the pink quilt... just love it. Hope it made you feel better just being near it!!

The crumb quilt idea (9.5" ruler) is wonderful - thanks so much for sharing!

Take care of yourself ~

It makes me tired just watching you accomplish so much! You go girl!

I can't believe all that you can get done even when you're tired! Do you have a speedy way to bind yourr quilts. That alone can bog me down for a couple of days. You always seem to have so many quilts "completely finished"!

The quilts both look terrific, but my favorite is the pink one. And I'm not even a pink person! It reminded me to get the top quilted that I made last fall.
