As you can see, I'm still avoiding assembling this top that's been on the design wall since January. It's on this week's list - I hope I can make myself sew these blocks together.
You'd think I wouldn't have but so much mess - we've just been here for 14-15 months but this is my supply closet in my longarm room. I'm in and out of here constantly and as you can see it needs sorting in a bad way.
And just because I realized it's been a long time since I've shared a photo of Chesty, here he is catching some afternoon sunshine. Poor thing, he wasn't thrilled about the move the Minneapolis but I hope this one won't be too traumatic.
I'm taking a break from work now. I'm going to curl up with Chesty and read for a while. It's what I do best when I'm stressed!

Thanks for the picture of your dog. I was actually going to e-mail you to ask what was up with his absence! When I started reading your blog he seemed to be a regular (my favourite post was of him at the doggy daycare) so I have missed him.
: )
The quilt turned out pretty. That's a pantograph that I'll probably never purchase. LOL
That quilting design looks great.
Hi Chesty! Looking pretty! How is his cough?
Your quilt up on the wall is a beauty. I'd love to make a heart quilt someday. Maybe for NEXT Valentine's Day?
Chesty is very cute! And I love the sunny view out your window. Looks like a place you could sit for hours. Really like your quilts, I hope to do a chinese coins quilt one day.
Adorable picture of Chesty!
You get more done than anyone I know Mary, including reading books. Give yourself a pat on the back and enjoy.
Aaw...I hope you and Chesty got some good snuggle time in together. What a cutey!
That clamshell pattern looks great. Can't wait to see your work in progress come together.
I appreciate your pics of the quilting patterns you use. I don't have a long arm but I use quilting pics from the net to show and describe what I want to the long arm quilter.

The Improved Clamshell looks really cool and hard to do!! Moving is GREAT for de-cluttering. One or more corners of my bedroom looks like your supply closet, but I've been in this house for 8 yrs. LOL! I just keep repeating Flylady's mantra, "I can do ANYTHING for 15 minutes in a row." That's how I clean house. :)
Hope there is another wonderful 'window on the world' for Chesty in your new house. He is such a cutie!
we'll be with you in spirit as you sort and pack - but we'll abandon you on the actual hefting boxes day!
i love that clamshell. it looks like the sort of pattern you can really sink your teeth into once you get the rhythm down.
Yes, we can never have too many pictures of handsome Chesty!!!
