I don't really mind since it should all be gone by Wednesday when the movers come.
Errands today, carpet cleaners at the townhouse tomorrow. I'm just about ready for them to pack on Monday once Keith gets home and helps me disassemble the longarm table.
Since the cable and internet have already been transferred to the townhouse, I'm spending my evenings reading once my *chores* are done for the day. I've read several by Laura Lippman, mysteries that take place in Baltimore that I've really enjoyed and today I'm reading The Madonnas of Leningrad - I can't remember which blog I saw that recommended it but I'm enjoying the book. Although I don't blog about most of the books I'm reading, you can always click on the link to my reading list in the sidebar.

I recently read The Madonnas of Leningrad and I loved it. Happy moving. You are almost there.
Thanks for the book recommendation! I see there are snow showers in Chicago this weekend, and we're heading up there for the quilt show. I guess snow showers are better than accumulating snow! Hope it's sunny and mild the day your movers come.
I hope the weather is considerate for your moving day. I guess movers know how to handle the odd snowy or wet day!
I love getting lost in a good book.
R u still using the Kindle? I'm just asking because I'm in the US now and I'm thinking of getting one. It would be a lot lighter than bringing back a stack of books to Saudi but I'm scared that I won't like the feel of it...?! Advise plz... I'll be in the USA for a month so no rush. Love your log cabin colors.
The author of The Madonnas of Leningrad is related to a woman in our choir!
Am trying to visualize the location of your townhouse. We are headed in a few moments to pick up sister and hubby who are flying in from MN (Cambridge). Two of their 3 kids live in MPLS. From an earlier phonecall it sounds like your weather is much better than ours is today. So much for travelling to better weather!
