Today Irene braved the traffic and drove into Toronto to meet me for lunch. She was so easy to talk to and I had a wonderful time. She's a fellow longarm quilter who like me doesn't quilt for others and we had a lot in common. Irene obviously knows I love wine from reading my blog because she bought a gift of Canadian wine for me - wasn't that NICE??

Actually Mary I am not surprised about your personality. I always thought that is who you are. You remind me a little of me. But I cannot quilt like you!!!!!

I'm joining your club! I'm chatty online but not so much with a new person. I have enjoyed meeting some bloggers and internet quilters, however. You'd think I would quit feeling "scared" about it after a few fun visits.
