# 4 is finished

Loaded last night and quilted this afternoon, this is a HeartStrings top pieced from donated blocks by Sue Frank's mother. I used one of my favorite pantographs - Feather Me - by Mereth. Can you see the Heart in the second photo? Both photos can be enlarged by clicking on them.

This is the 4th of 10 tops needed to meet my goal by August 31 and it's a good thing I'm on track since I've planned a trip to Virginia leaving on the 25th of August. I'm going to fly to Mom's and drive her up to PA to visit my Aunt and Uncle.

It's a lovely quilting pattern, and laying out the blocks to make a heart is such a neat way to put these string blocks together. I'm so impressed you're doing TEN in August!

Lovely quilt and quilting.

I'm using your red, white and blue rail fence pattern to make a HS graduation quilt for a foster grandson. When I bought the fabric I didn't know what college he would be attending so couldn't use a school color. He is a refuge from Rep. of Congo, has finished a 2 year community college, has his green card and now has a scholarship to a MI university. Not bad for no formal education until he came to the U.S. 4 years ago!!!! He wants to be a doctor.

Love the heart design in your string quilt layout, very pretty. Wide strips allow for your wonderful quilting! YOU WILL MEET YOUR GOAL I AM SURE!

I have got to try a string quilt. I love them.

You are getting closer and closer to me in your travels. Drive a bit further east(Well, a lot further east) to Long Island and I will take you to lunch!:)
