A virtual quilt show - Quilt 2

Purple and Orange - lots and lots of purple and orange half square triangles. This is one of my favorite quilts and somehow Chris managed to talk me out of this one and gave it to his girlfriend at the time.

From the book Spectacular Scraps: A Simple Approach to Stunning Quilts (Milner Craft) by Judy Hooworth and Margaret Rolfe (Paperback - Feb 28, 2006). If you don't own this book, I highly recommend it.

Edit: There was no second photo - just a failed upload of the quilt above - Sorry!

It's gorgeous! So bright and colorful! I don't think I could have let that one go.

But I can't view the second picture. Is it just me?

I love that quilt! I made several from her book. I took her class at Houston one year and then we hosted her at my local guild. Not only is she really talented but she's also a super nice person. I need to get the book out and make more of these.

So vibrant! I am not usually an orange person but it really looks great with all the purple! Is she still his girlfriend? LOL

No wonder that's one of your favorite quilts -- it's very neat! The coordinated scrappiness gives it such eye appeal. And I love purple and orange together.
