A finish

I finished the binding on this top sent to me by San (Gypsy Quilter) for Alycia's Quilt of Valor project. I have a couple more tops that will be quilted next month and I should have all 3 mailed by the end of April which is when Alycia wants to have all the quilts.
On a sad note, of all the shops in my neighborhood did it have to be the wine shop that went out of business?

Oh dear...hopefully there is another one close by. My favorite coffee shop (other than my Dunkin Donuts) just closed too. I may just have to go a buy a couple yards of fabric to make sure my LQS stays around!

The wine shop closing, the injustice of it all...

On the bright side, maybe they will have a going out of business sale. Time to stock the wine cellar!

one of our pizza shops closed and two clothing stores - I hope no more, plans are canceled for a new outside mall that was going to be built also. This economy is horrible for a lot of people.

sorry about the wine shop. I loved the post you did of wine being one of your favorite tools.

Very pretty quilt! omg, not the wine shop! I have started buying Mother Earth News and I have decided to start making my own.,.since I live in a dry county and have to drive @25 miles for alcohol! It could be fun. Sorry about your bad news, congrats on the quilt. Hugs, Elaine
