Oh, Mary, I'd almost feel bad about thinking you used your GO cutter! :) But I know it will get plenty of use when you GO home, and I am sure your mom appreciates whatever/however you do help her out! :-) I've got a friend who's interested in quilting, (another one!) and I've sent her to look at your blog and site for ideas and inspiration!
