How's your Sunday going?

It's a rainy day here and Keith is out of town - I'm feeling kind of mellow so reading and binding have been on my agenda although I did head out downtown for an early dinner and am now hanging out in the coffee shop.

I handstitched the binding on this top pieced by Liz as part of HeartStrings Happy Block project and sent to me to quilt and donate.

I love the quilting on this one - Whirlygig from Willow Leaf Studio.

I haven't decided what I'll work on later tonight - maybe more binding although I should probably be quilting.

Hope your weekend was as nice as mine!

That's a happy quilt! I've been solo all weekend as Chris is on a golf trip. I'd give anything for a quick rain shower to wash away the layer of pollen on my car. I am trying to finish my Mom's quilt tonight. We'll see how that goes!

Love the quilt Mary. My Sunday has been crazy, have been packing sewing room into bags as it is getting a new floor covering tomorrow. Mess mess mess. Argh. But it will be worth it...I hope Jan

Love the colors on that one...I like the quilting too.

Wish we could get some rain here..the smoke in the air is so thick from the wildfires.

Oh Mary, it's so pretty! Thank you for adding such a beautiful finish to such a fun quilt. I'm glad I wa abe to make a couple quilts for such a great cause.

I managed to finish quilting one of the quilts we make for the graduating high shool seniors at church. Now if we could only have some of your rain to wash away all the pollen! My eyes are so itchy!

Novelty fabrics and primary colors - you really can't go wrong with that combo! The quilting is perfect! My weekend went by entirely too fast, but School Boy has Thurs & Fri off this week so we are looking forward to an extra long weekend! Cheers! Evelyn
