Summer has arrived

It's been in the 90's the last couple days and I almost wish I was back at the beach where we had such nice breezes AND where I could just jump in the water if I got too hot.

However on the positive side, the grounds of our townhouse community are lush and green and gorgeous all without any effort on my part!

I'm puttering around with half square triangles and Pinwheel blocks and one by one, more blocks are making their way onto my design wall. I'm really liking this quilt!

Great shots Mary. The grounds look so peaceful.
I am reading Ken Follett, Jack Dawe and it's a great ww2 novel of espionage etc. Not my usual thing, but excellent read...

I'm liking that quilt, too!

Love the garden pictures. And how cool is it that you don't even have to pull weeds!

Those pictures of your garden areas are enough to cool you off. I don't mind heat, it's the humidity that does me in. Enjoy not having to maintain those lovely gardens ;-)

Oh but I do love the photos of your environment. How pleasant. I imagine the morning and evening is really wonderful!

Just for the record, I'm happy alongside with the HST & PW's as I do quite adore this quilt...
