The sun peeks through

The sky's been dark and stormy looking but with the sun peaking
through I think the rain may pass us by for now.

Yesterday's book was Testimony by Anita Shreve. Today I started
reading the complete collection of Sherlock Holmes by Arthur Conan
Doyle - got to love the Kindle for that!

I love my Kindle too - especially when traveling. My girls gave it to me as a gift so I didn't have to carry a suitcase full of heavy books with me on vacation. Bless their hearts!!

Maybe there will soon be quilt pattern books available for the Kindle. We can hope.

Enjoy your relaxing time reading by the water!

Did you enjoy Testimony? I stooped reading it half way through. I found it more than a little depressing...and it wasn't what I wanted for vacation.

I love Anita Shreve ... my first read of hers was Pilot's Wife but I think one of her best was "Sea Glass" ... I've re-read it several times, getting more out of it each time. Enjoy your vacation ~

I can't figure out how I got along without the Kindle...it's nice to not have to figure out how to get rid of all of my book club books once I read them. I'm reading The Help by Katheryn Stockette right now on Kindle and it's good.
