Puppy daycare/boarding
Keith has been traveling since Sunday so with both of us out of town Chesty had to go and stay at the daycare/boarding facility. I've been watching him on camera and calling everyday to make sure he's doing OK. Today they picked him up and brought him close to the camera while I was on the phone. Keith gets back to Minneapolis tomorrow so Chesty will get to go home.
Mom finished up the borders on our donation quilt this evening and I'll take it home with me to quilt. The lighting is not the best but you can get an idea of how the finished top looks.

I really like the quilt. I am enamored by ANYTHING in black/brights. I was very negative until I made one and saw the colors POP! Did they let you talk to Chesty on the phone? My mom put the phone up to our terrier and he started wagging his tail when YELLED into the phone! Too funny...
Another great quilt! Those colorful squares seem to float on the butterfly fabric. Beautiful.
Chesty looks like he's doing fine. Isn't it great that you can actually see him at the kennel? I LOVE that!
And the bright quilt is really gorgeous. The border really brings out the colors of the blocks...a stunner!
Love how you used the border print in the centre of these blocks too. Very bright and cheery :)
I really like the border fabric also being in the center of the blocks...looks great. Chesty looks very happy. Looks like a wonderful place for him to go on vacation.
Mary...have just come across your blog. Love what you do with colour in your quults. The dragonflies are beautiful and love the dog.
webcams are great for seeing your doggy at doggydaycare- thanks for sharing! love how the top came out with those borders...looking forward to seeing how you decide to quilt it.
I love that quilt! What a great way to use that butterfly fabric. Outstanding!
Chesty is having a good Time!
Wow - I really like this quilt - it has such fun colors in in it. I really like the background fabric. And the other colors go so well with it.
You and Mom make a GREAT team! The quilt is awesome!
I'm sure Chesty will be happy to be sprung from doggy jail, but that is a wonderful facility. Give him a scratch for me!
You are so creative! I just love the designs you come up with.
Glad that Chesty gets sprung from daycare soon. I hate it when I have to leave my boys in the kennel, but sometimes it just has to be done.
That dog has one expressive face; he always looks a bit desperate in the daycare, but I'm sure he actually does fine.
