Happy 4th

Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday. Mom and I had a quiet day spent working on our quilting projects.

Since I've finished my Purple Project top for HeartStrings yesterday I've been working on extra blocks to be sent in for group quilts. You can see my bin still has lots of bright strings.
Those of you who liked my Spiderweb quilt may want to take a look at Annie's version on her blog. Norma also did a 2 color version of the easy Double 4 Patch. Brief instructions for both quilts are posted on MaryQuilts.com

Those strip quilts really turn out well, and I love all the bright ones.

Okay Mary what do you use as the foundation? Paper, muslin? Love all the colorful strips and Catholic Charities is a great place to donate to!
