Don't bother to comment - just leave me to my misery. Can you believe that I have another wallhanging to quilt that Mom pieced for my other sister?? Just shoot me now! This is SO out of my comfort zone.

Congratulations !!! If that's out of your comfort zone, I'm impressed.
Misery makes us stronger and better!
You are doing a great job on this one though. All of your drawing has really paid off. Looks great!
What are you whining about??? It looks great!!
Yes, truly, what are you complaining about, it looks great.
It's just beautiful Mary ! What is the problem? Bonnie in Tx.
It's lovely!

If she doesn't like it ... send it MY way!! I think it's beautiful. You're too hard on yourself, Mary ... stop listening to those "bad tapes" in your head!!

great job. you are too hard on yourself.
I know what you mean, I thought when I saw it. "Mary doesn't do this kind of work", so be a good daughter and quilt it for her.
You know, I am so new at this art, but see people pick colours that just don't do it for me. I made the ugly quilt this summer and am finishing it because it is a lesson learned and I have a new sewing machine, so I can practice stippling on it. We all know that spending the time and the MONEY doing a quilt, that somtimes, ya just gotta finish the sucker!
You may be out of your comfort zone but you are doing an awesome job!
I think it looks wonderful!
Reward yourself!!! It's looking terrific. And darn...I haven't done that leaf echo in a long, long time. Thanks for the reminder!
Um - you need to redefine the boundaries of your comfort zone - that is BEAUTIFUL work my dear! Just lovely!
I think it looks nice. I especially like the quilting motifs done inside the wreath.
I'm behind on reading blogs. What you've done on this quilt looks wonderful - all that time spent doodling has really paid off :)
Looks super from where I'm sitting...you are doing a great job!
It may be out of your comfort zone, but ya done good! Keep going!
This is stunning work. But I do know what you mean, when you are asked to do something out of your zone. Everyone tells me that I pick beautiful colors for quilts, but I agonize in the fabric shops and haul bolts and bolts of fabric out. I'm so insecure... But it usually works out nice in the end.. And it doesn't get any easier with time or practice.. :) This is a beautiful piece, my compliments to you both.
I'm way behind in my blog reading. Repeat after me - I am way too hard on myself! You did a wonderful job Mary - quit beating yourself up!
I don't know why you feel the appliques are out of your comfort zone because bleieveeeeeeee me you are doing a wonderfull job! Before you quilted these projects they were just there and once you added the quilting you brought them alive you go girl!
