Binding

I'm doing a better job this month keeping up with my binding as I quilt - this top was pieced by Mom and given to me to quilt and donate. It was from a kit I bought her at Tiny Stitches last year when I was in Georgia visiting the boys.

binding...yikes. I'll never catch up! (thanks for the link to your class in your other post...very tempted to take one of those classes!)

The ice-blue looks wonderful with the snow-white in the background.

You and your mother make a great team.

Oh my, how this one brings back memories.

First, I love that you took it outside in the snow to take the photo!

Second, our older son collected penguins for MANY years (he still has the glass and some of the ceramic ones, along with the concrete door stop almost life size penguin).

I made a penguin quilt for our younger son's undergrad roommate almost 3 years ago now ... one of the fabrics is the same as one in yours...

Just love this one all the way around!

I thought I recognized the fabric. Hope to see you next time you are in Georgia.

What a pretty quilt. I've seen that fabric before, but never would have thought about putting it together that way.
