Well...

Was it worth me fussing over it another week?? It took a bit of work to turn those different size scraps into a border and I had to really scrounge around in my stash to find bits and pieces that would work with the fabrics in the quilt but it's done now.

Click the photo to enlarge.
The final size is 62 x 74.

Yes, yes, yes it was worth it! That is exactly what I envisioned when you asked what to do with the border! It turned out just beautiful! I'm sure it was a lot of extra work (and buying more fabric).

Mary, It's absolutely gorgeous. But then I'm crazy about blue, especially these brights. I've got some pre-cut kaleidoscope pieces and you've given me inspiration to do something with them.

I just love that border! Very creative. Any rhyme or system there or did you just keep those pieces odd shaped on purpose?

AWESOME!!! I love it! Do you have the dark blue to bind it in? That would frame it out!

OH Mary! It's perfect! :) I l♥ve how the blocks look to have been tossed out among the black background.

This would be a good colorway for a teenaged boy. ;) I'm sure who ever ends up with it will love it.

Love from Texas! ~bonnie
