Minnesota pale

We're set up for the day on the beach but with lots of shade so I don't burn (more). I'm even wearing a hat today Deb!

I envy your leisure. I'm doing heavy cleaning and organizing.
Enjoy every minute of your free time.
It's a rare find.

Mary, as a pale fellow Minnesotan (with Scandinavian blood), that's exactly how I "sun bathe"! I guess shade bathing is more accurate.

"Minnesota Pale" is the healthy way to go. (Sadly, too many people think a tan is healthy.) I am proud of you for seeking shade and wearing a hat.

Looks like a gorgeous day! BTW, did you see the adorable free hat pattern via Amazon today...from the book Knitting in the Sun? http://www.amazon.com/gp/feature.html/ref=pe_35010_12282320_fe_txt_2/?docId=1000387361 Would be really cute where you are now!

Hi Mary, I'm glad you're having fun, and good for you for being careful with your sun exposure. Those shady chairs look very inviting and cool!

Have a dermatology appt. tomorrow for treatment of pre-cancerous spots on my face. Been dealing with this the past few years. The sins of previous years of sun-bathing catching up with me. You are doing it the smart way... where I used to seek out the sun in the middle of the day, I now lather up in sunscreen and avoid those "high sun" hours like the plague!

Nary--Ken wants to know if you still need to apply sunscreen to walk to the hotel??
