Aquatennial

An Aquatennial event along the river this afternoon.
My last two digital editing lessons. The first is a collage probably easier done in Picasa although you certainly have more options using Photoshop.
In this lesson, she used three different photographs of her daughter, I chose to cut one photo in 3rds and to enlarge the center.

Mary,

Yet another cool time with photography. I really Seriously dig the split of 3rds & enlarging the center. It's extremely creative and is calling out to be the cover for a story.

I love your photo tricks! The photo cut into thirds is very cool.

I too like the tryptich effect, and I love karendianne's idea that it is a book cover. Since she's got the title, I wonder when she'll write the book?

I like the one done in thirds. Looks like the cover pics for a tri-fold chamber brochure.

Love what you're doing in that class. I signed up for it and planned to work on it while in LA but realized after arriving that I'd never put Photoshop on the laptop. You can tell how much I use it (the laptop and photoshop).

The bridge photo is really cool. I wonder if it's possible to adjust the color so it appears that the sun is going down.

I miss the Aquatennial. We always enjoyed going to the parade in downtown Minneapolis. Have you seen it?
