I actually dusted off the longarm and quilted something. We're visiting the boys in Atlanta in a week and I would like to have this quilt finished so I can take it to give to Adam's girlfriend. It still needs binding and washing but I should be able to manage that.

I love the way this looks! Hey, I am from Atlanta--if you get a chance check out one of my fav shops--it is one of the newest in town. A Scarlet Thread.
Oh I love it! You are SO brave to step outside your comfort zone! (I may need that as soon as my Classic arrives...can you say that back to me ...say..mid August??? you are a peach!)
It's gorgeous Mary! Doesn't it feel great to have the quilting done?!?!
It turned out great Mary. I really like this panto and I have it bookmarked now. :) Thanks.
Looks great...the panto looks fun with the applique...boo to that rule!
It turned out great!
She is a lucky gal to get such a beautiful quilt!
What a beautiful quilt: lucky girlfriend.
I think I've said it before. Rules are made to be broken, and here is the proof. That quilt looks gorgeous, thanks for letting us see it.
I wish I were your son's girlfriend! I would love to be receiving this quilt! I think the pantograph works beautifully. The colors in this quilt are just spectacular.
Cute! I love the panto - I think it looks great with the applique. I just finished a quilt using the Daisy Swirl panto and really, really liked it - love those daisies!
Looks great Mary - another happy quilt that brings a smile to your face when you look at it.
Oh...love the hearts and flowers quilting!
That quilt makes me feel so happy just looking at it - can't imagine how cheery it must be in person!! Your son's girlfriend is one lucky girl!!
Let me add my voice to the chorus of those who love the quilting. I am new to this and still make baby quilts that I can quilt on my sewing machine and that requires me hand guiding, so your longarm quilting is just amazing to me.
I love the colour in this quilt! She is a lucky girl :o)
Mary -- the quilt is wonderful, the quilting is wonderful. I was saying I want this panto -- thanks for the link, by the way -- and, why am I surprised. It is a willow leaf and I love their work. Maybe it will go on my christmas list. Is the pattern for the quilt on Maryquilts.com? Bonnie in the Poconos.
Mary,
that is the most beautiful quilt. Adam's girlfriend is a lucky girl. That pantograph is one of my favourites that I like to use a lot.
Happy quilting

I haven't been able to locate "they" or "some people" & I'd like to. Certainly individuals that hold much sway over my own personal life. I beat them down though and I cheer on with this panto over applique. I absolutely love it. I think these individuals maybe don't want to put in the little bit of extra effort to find the right "whatever" it takes to blend it all. ...of course I do NOT know because I'm just a piece. ...of work!
Oh she is one lucky girlfriend! I love the quilting. The daisies are such a happy little flower and over the applique looks just fine. Have a great visit. Jenn
WOW!!!!Amazing quilts!!
